The United Arab Emirates has issued a strong condemnation of Iran’s recent attacks on Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan, labeling them a grave threat to the security and stability of the region. The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement terming the strikes as blatant violations of the sovereignty of its neighboring countries. The ministry reiterated its unwavering support for the affected nations, emphasizing the need for collective regional security.
Alongside these condemnations, the UAE also criticized Iran’s actions in Iraq’s Kurdistan region, cautioning that such aggression could lead to further instability. In Kuwait, authorities reported that an Iranian strike targeted a power and water desalination facility, igniting a fire and causing considerable damage to several units responsible for electricity generation.
In Jordan, the military disclosed that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed three Iranian missiles that had breached the country’s airspace. Fortunately, officials confirmed there were no injuries or damage as a result of the incident.
Additionally, Bahrain’s armed forces announced the successful interception and destruction of multiple Iranian aerial threats by their air defense systems. These incidents contribute to the rising tensions in the Middle East, amid ongoing military exchanges between Iran and the United States.
