In a remarkable achievement at the Greenwich International Innovation Olympiad in London, a team of students from Dubai Schools Al Khawaneej has been recognized by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, the Crown Prince of Dubai. The students, Ali Al Jarwan, Khalifa Al Marzouqi, Omar Al Balooshi, and Saeed Abu Al Shawareb, claimed the gold medal with their innovative project, the Smart Irrigation Train. Their project surpassed entries from competitors representing 80 different countries.
Sheikh Hamdan, who also serves as Dubai’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, commended these young innovators, seeing them as exemplary figures for the youth of the United Arab Emirates. He expressed admiration for their commitment and creativity, highlighting that such qualities are vital to the nation’s advancement. He further called upon students throughout the UAE to follow the path of excellence demonstrated by the winning team.
