In a recent meeting held in Abu Dhabi, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in discussions with Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Ruler of Fujairah. The talks underscored the nation’s unwavering dedication to advancing its citizens’ welfare and pursuing national progress. The leaders reiterated that the well-being of Emirati citizens is central to the UAE’s developmental agenda and is vital for fulfilling the country’s long-term aspirations. They also expressed hopes for the continued safety, prosperity, and advancement of the nation.
Sheikh Hamad was joined by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, the Crown Prince of Fujairah, during this significant meeting. The event saw the presence of several notable figures, including Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs. Additionally, Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, attended alongside various ministers and government officials.
The gathering was part of the UAE leadership’s ongoing efforts to evaluate national priorities, enhance inter-emirate cooperation, and improve the living standards for all citizens and residents. Regular consultations like these are integral to ensuring the alignment of development strategies across the emirates and fostering a united approach to challenges.
This meeting follows a prior engagement in April, when President Sheikh Mohamed visited Fujairah. During that visit, the two leaders toured Fujairah Port, examining the progress of development projects and operational enhancements at this crucial maritime hub for the UAE. Such visits and dialogues highlight the leadership’s commitment to overseeing and advancing key infrastructural projects that contribute to the nation’s economic vitality.
